This is a big week.
Today, lawmakers in the Senate Judiciary Committee will vote on the Religious Freedom and Civil Marriage Protection Act. AB 43, authored by Assemblymember Mark Leno, D-San Francisco and sponsored by Equality California, would grant same-sex couples the dignity, legal protections and responsibilities of marriage.
