San Francisco Police Department is Hiring Now!
Recently we heard Mayor Newsom tell us that there are going to be cutbacks in city personnel and cutbacks in new hiring. That applies to most City departments, but not all.
The San Francisco Police Department is continuously hiring!The current annual entry-level pay for a San Francisco Police Officer is $71,526 to $95,732.
Benefits include:
* 10 paid vacation days a year during the first five years of service.
* 15 paid vacation days a year during the next 10 years of service.
* 20 paid vacation days a year after 15 years of service.
* 4 floating holidays.
* 13 paid sick days a year and several healthcare plans.
* Bilingual pay and special assignment pay.
* Retirement Eligibility at Age 50, with a maximum of 90% benefit based on years of service.
Applicants must be 21 years old, have a valid driver's license, must be US citizens, must have a high School diploma or equivalent, and must not have been convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor which would prohibit possession of a firearm.
