On Wednesday, November 14, 2007 thousands of neighbors and friends in the Castro, Noe Valley, SOMA, Mission, Haight, Hayes Valley, Pacific Heights, Marina, Potrero Hill, North East and West Portal who will provide much needed financial support for persons fighting AIDS and breast cancer by simply eating a meal.
DineAround is a simple concept. When you eat lunch or dinner at any of the 48 neighborhood restaurants, you accomplish two things.
First, you support local chefs who support our community.
Second, you help raise funds for two great charities: AIDS Emergency Fund and Breast Cancer Emergency Fund, because participating restaurants have agreed to donate 25% of their food and beverage receipts from this day.
