Gavin Newsom Inauguration Party - deYoung Museum

Once every four years San Franciscans have an opportunity to come together as a community and celebrate the inauguration of a new mayor.

Over the years I have attended a number of such events and they are always special and important to me. It is a time to see old acquaintances, meet the rising stars in San Francisco politics and celebrate the commonality we all have of being dedicated San Franciscans. Is is an event I look forward to with enthusiasm.

Last night the core community of San Francisco came together at the deYoung Museum to celebrate Gavin Newsom's second inauguration. It was the hottest ticket in town and the place to be.

Thank you to the Newsom Inauguration Committee for a very well accomplished task and congratulations to the Mayor and his bride-to-be, Jennifer Siebel who was the star of the evening, particularly with her 3-carat, $100,000 Tiffany engagement ring.

It was a wonderful way to begin a promising New Year!
