City of San Francisco's Hot New Website

Have you seen the hot new official website of the City and County of San Francisco?

It is bright, up-beat and much more user-friendly than the previous interface. You can browse through the site by following this link to:
www.sfgov.org.

There is a news ticker that runs along one side of the home page that I find particularly helpful. At the bottom of the home page they have added four huge push-buttons that offer ultra-easy access to:
  • SF Find. The new interactive map feature that enables anyone to find just about any address in San Francisco in seconds. Try it out!
  • SF Online. This button will take you to an exhaustive directory of all City services, agencies, departments other non-SF government links.
  • SF 311. One call does it all with the City's 311 telephone service offering live help 24/7/365.
  • SFGTV. San Francisco's award-winning live closed-circuit television station that beams live meetings and events to San Franciscan's via cablecast through local service providers. Also browse the catalog for Video on Demand.
It's a very impressive and easy-to-use web site that provides more San Francisco information than has ever been available on a single web site. Chances are - whatever you want to know about San Francisco - you will find easily on this website. If, however, you still have an unanswered question, browse through the extensive list of San Francisco links and City phone numbers you will find along the right side column of Sam Spade's San Francisco.

Take the time to become familiar with
www.sfgov.org.
