Thank you,Ted Kennedy. Because of you we are a healthier nation today.

The health care bill passed.

In addition to my profound thanks to Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein, Barbara Boxer and to President Obama, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the late senior senator from Massachusetts who, for most of his life, fought long and hard to bring health care reform to the ordinary, un-powerful people of this country.

Thank you so very much, Senator Edward M. Kennedy.

"For all those whose care have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."
