The Coast Guard just announced that USCGC Boutwell is on the way home!
Welcome Home, Boutwell!
WHO: The Coast Guard Cutter Boutwell, a 378-foot High Endurance Cutter based at Alameda, in San Francisco Bay.
WHAT: Boutwell returns home after a six-month deployment that circumnavigated the globe. The crew conducted joint operations with the USS Boxer Expeditionary Strike Group, which participated in anti-piracy operations and training of foreign navies. WHEN: July 8 at 9 a.m. on Coast Guard Island, Alameda. Sorry, this event is not open to the public as it takes place on a secure military facility.
