Urgent plea to San Franciscans: Give these beautiful cats a loving home. Save their lives! Hurry!

An urgent message from the San Francisco SPCA:

Despite our plea in
June, we are still at full capacity with adult cat and kittens, and need your help. Kitten season is currently well underway, and together with a large number of adult and senior cats, the feline population at shelters continues to increase.

About the photo: This is Thomas. He is one of the many beautiful cats waiting for a loving home. Read
more about Thomas here.

The current economic crisis is also blamed for a rise in the number of owner-surrendered and abandoned cats. The SF/SPCA and other shelters in surrounding areas, are still urgently looking for more adopters to
save cats' lives.
