Prop 8 California Supreme Court Oral Argument Video, Resources, Blogroll & Case Doc Links

Twenty years from now the freshmen classes at colleges and universities all across this nation will find it amazing that back in 2009 the people of California were still strongly victimized by a fear philosophy that developed in Europe during the Dark Ages as a response to the plague. The philosophy was morphed and incorporated into the traditions of the Roman Church. They sought to set a group of people aside, strip them of their rights and keep them apart from the rest of society. It became dominance by the majority (represented by the Church) over an undesirable minority (victims de jour).
.
We Californians like to think of ourselves as being socially and intellectually advanced. The evidence suggests otherwise.
