Now that Barack Obama has won the presidency there are a lot green "O'bama" buttons available for St. Patrick's Day. Nearly all the buttons are copy-cats of a button released in very limited supply in January of 2007.

The original buttons were produced by the Obama campaign and bear the markings of the original authorized button manufacturer. The buttons also include a union bug which identifies the union local whose members did the work. This button is already a sought-after collectible. Because of the low number of originals manufactured in 2007 they are on their way to becoming a hot collectible of the 44th President.
I own one of these buttons and tomorrow, on St. Patrick's Day, I will wear my bright green O'bama campaign button. If you don't have one of the originals, here is some good news for you:
The Democratic National Committee has re-issued the buttons. They are nearly identical to the originals and can be purchased for one-dollar each at: democraticstuff.com
