To help jumpstart the national economy and save and create jobs, the federal government has enacted the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. One of the main goals of ARRA is to provide quick relief to families who are hurting and to invest in projects that will create jobs immediately.
California is set to receive about $13.5 billion from the federal program, some of which is being made available in the form of local grants. Programs and funds are announced regularly, so please check my website periodically for the most recent information.
