Google Flu Trends - Stay Ahead of Influenza Season

You can better prepare for flu season with a new tool that provides up-to-date estimates of flu activity in the U.S.

uses aggregated Google search data to track flu activity up to two weeks faster than traditional flu surveillance systems. The site also includes flu news articles, a flu shot locator, and lots of information about how we calculate the estimates from aggregated search queries.

Another good source of update information on the flu season is the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) FluView, a weekly influenza surveillance report published online.
