The Morrison Planetarium at the California Academy of Sciences at is about to end it's second major show and hold the premier for the planetarium's third show.
Morrison Planetarium is the largest all-digital planetarium in the world. The experience makes IMAX look like a iPad. Journey to the Stars
The current show, Journey to the Stars will end November 5th. The show, narrated by Whoopi Goldberg, will take you through the cosmos to experience a supernova explosion and witness the future of our own sun.
LIFE: A Cosmic Story
The new show, starting November 6th, is LIFE: a Cosmic Story. It will be narrated by Jodie Foster.
Life: A Cosmic Story uses the latest scientific knowledge to examine an age-old question: how did life on Earth begin? Starting with the first stars and ending with the tremendous biological diversity on Earth today, Life will show you that the human pedigree is actually 13.7 billion years in the making. It will play 7-10 times a day through late 2011. Pick up your show passes at the planetarium entrance. Visit the interactive exhibit map to leafind your way.
